📢 Join the Better4U Pilot Study – Help Shape the Future of Digital Health!
In this pilot we are testing digital tools that will later be used in a large trial to produce a
personalized health intervention.
In this study we will use:
- A mobile app and
- A smartwatch
to track your daily habits regarding diet, physical activity, and sleep. The collected data will be
used to derive automatic health recommendations platform for healthcare professionals.
Why?
Before using these tools in intervention studies in seven countries (Cyprus, France, Greece, Poland,
Portugal, Spain, Sweden), we need your feedback to ensure they are easy to use and effective!
🖐 Who can join?
• Anyone between 18–65 years old
• Weight categories: normal weight, overweight, or obesity
• Own an Android phone
📌 What will you do?
Step 1: Short visit to Karolinska Institutet
• Get details about the study & sign a consent form
• Fill out a battery of questionnaires (10-15 minutes)
• Receive a smartwatch & install the app
Step 2: Use the app & smartwatch for 3 weeks ⏳
• Take pictures of your meals and drinks through the app
• Physical activity & sleep will be automatically tracked by the watch!
Step 3: Return the smartwatch to the research team
