This study is about how we perceive visual impressions that can provoke disgust. We will measure
your brain activity with magnetic resonance (MR) imaging (performed at SUBIC, Stockholm University)
while you look at or touch potentially disgusting objects. Participation takes 2-2.5 hours and you
will be compensated with 300 SEK. You will also fill out forms about your personality, your
relationship with illness and your health. Due to practical setup reasons, you should be at least
170cm tall and have a BMI of max 25. Age range: 18-45 yo.
MR compatibility: You must not be pregnant or claustrophobic, not have tattoos on head/neck or
non-removable piercings, not have pacemaker or other electrical implant, not have metal implants
other than e.g. dentures or IUD, not have insulin pump.
