We are looking for healthy right-handed people aged 18-35, who are interested in participating in a study on brain mechanisms behind learning ability.
As part of the study, you will be asked to fill out questionnaires about your health and lifestyle, and to perform computerized cognitive tasks. You will then be called to two visits as at the Radiology Department at Skåne University Hospital (SUS), where images of your brain's structure will be taken with MRI. The first study session will take approximately 3-3,5 hours, of which approximately 60 minutes will be spent in the MRI scanner. While we measure your brain's structure with MRI, you will perform a motor task with your fingers.
At the end of the session, you may be asked to practice a motor task at home. Training will involve learning some key sequences on a keypad with your left hand. You will need to perform the exercises for 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for two weeks. After the two weeks have passed, you will be called to a final visit at the Radiology Department at Skåne University Hospital. This visit will take 30-45 minutes. During this session, you will not need to perform any task, but just lie still and calm in the MRI scanner for 5-7 minutes while we obtain a final image of your brain.
Financial compensation for your participation is SEK 2,400 (control group) or SEK 3,650 (experimental group) (taxable).



Vi söker friska högerhänta personer i åldern 18-35 år som är intresserade av att delta i en studie om hjärnmekanismer bakom inlärningsförmåga.
