Exploring the Psychological, Emotional and Behavioural Effects of Artificial Lighting

Are you interested in participating in research investigating how exposure to artificial lighting
affects different psychological states, emotions, and behaviours?
How does the study work? Participation consists of a single 60-minute session in which you will
perform manual and cognitive tasks under artificial lighting. You will also answer background and
study related questions before, during, and after the tasks. During the session, participant's heart
rate will be measured using an electrocardiogram (ECG). All data will be collected anonymously.
Who can participate? Participation is open to individuals 18 years and above. Those that complete
the study will receive a multi-shop gift card worth 150 SEK as compensation for their time.
Where does the study take place? The research is conducted by Karolinska Institutet in collaboration
with the Department of Psychology at Stockholm University (Albanovägen 12).
When? After expressing your interest to participate, we will provide you with available time slots.
