Gaze perception study - can you tell where they are looking?

Duration: 90 - 120 minutes
Location: Social Perception Lab at Karolinska Institutet (Campus Solna)
Eligibility requirements: Normal or corrected-to-normal vision (glasses/contact lenses are fine), no history of neurological or psychiatric disorders, ability to stand for 10-15 min (without excessive movement).
Experiment description: You will stand facing another person, who will slowly sweep their gaze horizontally from left to right, and right to left, is a systematic fashion. Your task will be to pay attention to the other person’s eyes and use a slider to rate (in real-time) how strongly you perceive the other’s gaze to be directed at you (any part of your body). You will perform 3 tasks, each of them between 10-12 min. Between each session, you will take a short break. At the end of the experiment, you will fill out a few short questionnaires.
