Take Part in a Brain Research Study!
We are looking for healthy participants to join a behavioural study investigating touch perception.
💡What does participation involve?
You will take part in a 60 min. behavioural experiment.
You will be compensated with one cinema ticket.
👤 What will you do?
First, you will answer a short questionnaire to assess your hand dominance.
During the behavioural experiment:
You will receive two taps on your left index finger.
You will either keep the right finger still, or you will use one of your right fingers to tap on a
button.
You’ll answer a simple force discrimination question about the perception of the touches.
✅ Who can participate?
To take part, you must:
Be 18–40 years old
Have no history of neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorders;
Not be taking medication that affects cognitive function;
Have normal eyesight or corrected with glasses/contact lenses'
Have not participated in our previous force discrimination experiments;
Understand and speak English.

Testing will take place throughout November 2025. There are many time slots available.
