We are recruiting participants for pilot sessions that may contribute to a multimodal human–robot
interaction dataset for academic research. The purpose of the pilot sessions is to test and refine
the study setup before the main data collection.
During a single session of approximately one hour, you and two other participants will interact with
Furhat, a social robot developed by Furhat Robotics, in two collaborative activities.
In the first activity, you will help Furhat reconstruct a dinner party by exploring the room,
examining objects and photos, and reasoning together with the robot. In the second activity, you
will discuss interesting everyday and ethical dilemmas together with Furhat and the other
participants. Part of the discussion will take place while seated, and part of it while standing.
The session will be conducted in English, so participants should be comfortable understanding and
speaking English in a group discussion.
If you would like to participate with friends, please write the same group name in the optional
message field, for example “Group XY.” Each participant still needs to apply individually.
The session will be audio- and video-recorded. The recordings will be used to evaluate and refine
the study setup and may also contribute to a controlled-access multimodal research dataset that will
support future academic research in human–robot interaction and related fields. All participants
will receive detailed information and provide informed consent before participating.
