You can contribute to our understanding of "Super Shoes" that have been at the forefront of running records in recent years. They have gained widespread popularity among recreational runners and this study aims to understand the implications of this trend.
To participate, you are required to be an adult female (aged 18-65) and a recreational runner capable of completing 10km in under 1 hour. Additionally, you must be free of injury during and 6 months prior to participation.
During the study, you will report to the BMC Laboratory of GIH once for a 90min assessment. During this assessment you will run 6x4min in three different shoe models (2 super, 1 traditional) provided by the study´s supervisors. The 6 runs will all be completed at or below threshold speed. You will receive movie tickets worth 300SEK and a biomechanical analysis of your running as compensation for participation.
We hope to see you in the lab!
